Toddlers aren’t the easiest to get photographed, they don’t understand what is going on and it’s a lot for their sweet little selves to take in, however, when you get moments like this it is totally worth it 🤍

🤍Sweet and perfect 🤍

🤍My newborn photo shoot style is very relaxed. We take it at baby’s pace and capture real, cosy and beautiful photos. There’s no posing and if baby gets upset they go straight back to their parent for lots of cuddles and love until they are happy again 🤍

🤍Parents are offered plenty of drink refreshments to keep them hydrated. Newborn photoshoots are not the quickest of sessions. It’s a completely different environment for a newborn where they are held by a stranger, anyone would be uncomfortable in that situation let alone a newborn who has only known the security of being inside a uterus for approximately 9 months. It’s important we take the time to make sure baby is fed and happy before we start trying to take photos. And if you want photos of baby being fed too, whether breast, bottle or feeding tube, I can absolutely make that happen too 🤍

🖤 Charlie is such a good big brother to his sister Sofie, giving her lots of cuddles and kisses. He was also a little star when it was his turn to get some pics alone 🖤

🖤Getting a little family shoot with the newborn is a great way to get lots of attention on the sibling. They usually love the chance to be the star of the show while parents settle their newborn sibling. We usually sing song or make silly noises and make a big deal about how big they are and are such a good sibling to their little sibling. This helps take a lot of the pressure too as they are entertained while the baby is getting settled 🖤

🤎 This maternity photoshoot seems like a dream ago now 🤎

🤎 Everything about it was dreamlike. The setting. The gown. The crown. The whole beautiful connection between Laua, her partner, her son and her bump. I wish I could do this photoshoot all over again 🤎

🤎It’s starting to get a little colder now so I expect outdoor maternity photo shoots to become less often now but I do also have a studio option. 🤎🤍If this mama isn’t perfection then I don’t know what is 🤍🤎

🤍🤎Laua did the location scouting herself as she had her heart on a forestry and lake style shoot but as her pregnancy got further on she realised somewhere with minimal walking would be more comfortable 🤎🤍

🤎🤍This perfect little spot is known as either Arcot Lake or Arcot Pond in Cramlington Northumberland where we were joined by a few friends/ gatekeepers 🦢 🦢

🤍🤎The dress and crown (more gorgeous pics coming soon) were created by the talented Aimee @corsetryandcouture Make sure you let Aimee know if you have a bridal/ maternity or any other special shoot or occasion coming up as she has magic hands which will create something unique. 🤍CUUUTTTTIIESSSS🤍

🤍This was our second attempt but I’m so glad they all came back to try again. It’s not easy getting little ones to pose for photos together. I am always patient with little babas and we will take it at their pace, you can’t force them to do something they don’t want to do as it just leads in tears from little ones and frustration from parents. It’s supposed to be a lovely and joyous moment to capture and you want good memories in your head when you look at the photos. I will sing songs, make funny sounds and faces, tell jokes and just be silly to capture those natural smiles 🤍

🤍How beautiful is this family 🤍

🤍🤎This gorgeous family of four is now a gorgeous family of six!! 🩵🩵🩵🩵 I had such a fantastic time capturing this massive milestone for Amy, Andrew and their beautiful boys during Amy’s maternity’s photoshoot 🤎🤍

🤍 We had fun playing red light, green light to get lots of natural laughs and smiles. Jacob was a little shy at first but having fun and playing games really helped bring him out of his shell. Ethan was an absolute dude and both of them just adored their mama and her beautiful bump. It has been lovely to hear are now totally smitten and in love with their gorgeous baby brothers.
