While some weddings are remembered for the décor or the dress, I’ll always remember Jade and Ollie’s day for how it felt. It was a beautiful, heartfelt celebration with loved ones who had all taken a well-earned break from their North Yorkshire farms to be there.
The morning was a calm hum of prosecco and preparation until the dresses were on, when a stunning bridal reveal sparked the first happy tears of the day. At the church, Ollie shared sweet moments with their young boys before a truly moving ceremony where there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Their practice definitely paid off for the confetti dip, as you can see in the image above, it was a picture-perfect moment! I always recommend a little rehearsal to my couples to ensure they feel confident and look amazing in the moment.
After family and couple photos, we went to The Durham Ox for celebrations and unreal food. A lot of the family members and friends were also farmers. Therefore, Jade and Ollie were so appreciative that loved ones had taken the day away from a busy period in the year to come and celebrate with them, and my goodness, did everyone make the most of the celebrations and day off.
It was an absolute joy to preserve these genuine memories for Jade and Ollie through both photo and film.
Planning something like this in the North East or Yorkshire? I’d love to hear about it.
